Nike Air Force 270 “Safari” info

Another prevailing trend moving into 2018 is the deconstructed and technical aesthetic that features all the inner workings of a shoe on the exterior. The upcoming Air Force 270 is one key example of that trend as every section of the shoe – the molded heel, utility-grade buckle, and perforated toe – purposely gear toward exposing the stitches and the joints. A modified version of the recently unveiled Air Max 270 Air unit provides the comfort, while a inner bootie ensures snug fit. This updates version of the Air Force 180 will debut soon in the familiar “Safari” colorway.

Nike’s Air Max 270 silhouette made its global debut today, dropping in four simple colorways with blacked out uppers and colorful Air Bag units. The energy around the Swoosh’s newest sneaker has been high, as Nike has handled its roll-out in a smart way, saving its louder colors for a drop during Air Max Day. Now, Nike has plans to add its lifestyle engineered Air Max heel to a brand new design called the Air Force 270– a combination of that aforementioned heel underneath an updated version of the Air Force 180. Initially sample photos of this look featured a Safari-print toe and an orange sockliner, but the photos you see below confirm tat it will come equipped with a leather to and black lining instead.

To go along with the Nike Air Max 270, Nike Sportswear will also be debuting the Nike Air Force 270. One of the first colorways to release comes dressed in the original “Safari” colorway that Tinker Hatfield made famous back in 1987 with the Air Safari. While having a half-length Air Max bag from the Air Max 270, the popular “Safari” print covers the toe and heel area. Dressed in the signature Black and Orange color scheme. This new Air Force 270 model comes equipped with a mid-foot buckled strap adding to the luxurious style.

Nike Air Max 180 “Laser Pink”

The Nike Air 180 is poised to make a boisterous return thanks to Japanese fashion house COMME des Garcons. Three colorways of the original running shoe born in 1991 will hit select retailers beginning on February 1st, with each of the three options containing Laser Pink nylon uppers and Solar Red logos, external heel counters, and Air Bag housings. The only feature differentiating the three is the overlay tones, which appear in white, black, or pink. The Air 180 isn’t one to receive many collaborations, as the only ones that may immediately come to mind are creations by French sneaker boutique Oqium, the now-defunct Nom de Guerre, and of course Kanye West.

Japanese fashion house COMME des Garcons is set to releasing their next Nike collaboration on February 1st in three pink-toned colorways. Originally debuting last June during the label’s Homme Plus SS18 fashion show, the Air Max 180 CDG keeps Tinker Hatfield’s original design and applies the vibrant Laser Pink in three options. COMME des Garcons typically reworks the model and adds aesthetic modifications (their Vapormax and Dunk collaborations from this year alone are telling), so consider these rather out of the ordinary for the forward-thinking designer.

While some early pairs of the COMME des Garcons x Nike Air 180 leaked in early January, the vibrant collection’s official release is fast approaching. Primarily adorned in Laser Pink with Solar Red logos, heel counters, and Air Bag units, each selection boasts a different colored overlay that dramatically alters the aesthetic make-up of each offering. While seldom-used in the past, it appears that the 180 will be enjoying a bit of a resurgent 2018 campaign that is highlighted by this pairing, but also will be featured in an Ultramarine colorway tomorrow. Big name collaborations the likes of one with this illustrious Japanese fashion house are a surefire way to send a jolt of attention onto a sneaker.

Rumors began surfacing this weekend that the OFF-WHITE x Nike Collection could possibly be releasing on September 1st. Today we bring you new images of one of the many sneakers from the collection, the OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Max 90 ICE.

Just like most o the other pairs from the collection, this iteration of the Air Max 90 ICE has been deconstructed as it features what looks like an “unfinished” design. The shoe comes with a leather and suede upper in a cream/off-white with unique Nike and OFF-WHITE branding placed all throughout the shoe. An icy blue translucent midsole along with a cream outsole complete the look.

The OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Max 90 Ice is one of 10 pairs apart of the OFF-WHITE x Nike and Jordan Brand 10X Collection.

The theme of the OFF-WHITE Nike Air Max 90 is unfinished or to even look like a sample. This look has been applied to the Air Jordan 1, Nike Air vaporMax and most likely the Air Jordan 3.

Looking closer, this Nike Air Max 90 features Grey and Beige. In addition, they feature a mixture of suede and leather with OFF-WHITE’s signature branding that reads “OFF-WHITE c/o NIKE “AIR MAX 90” Beaverton, Oregon 1990.” Following we have exposed stitching on the panels, patch on the heel and unique tongue label.

The shoe is getting an Undefeated nickname due to the colors used, as it features a mixture of Olive Green throughout the Flyknit upper and contrasting black applied on the Swooshes and outsole. Finally, the striking orange hits are seen on the “AIR” text across its lateral sides, insoles and larger Air Max heel unit.

The Nike Air Max 270 is inspired by two models, the Air Max 180 and the Air Max 93. A naturally born hybrid, the new Air Max 270 is currently one of the most sought-after Nike models.Feel the Air, both above and below, with the Nike Air Max 270 Flyknit. It features Nike’s biggest heel Air unit yet, plus an ultra-breathable Flyknit upper that helps keep you cool when the temperatures rise. Classic color combinations nod to iconic Air Max models of the past, delivering a modern, streamlined look that’s rooted in Nike sneaker heritage.

Off-White x Nike Air More Uptempo

With another release of the Nike ‘The Ten’ Collection coming this month artist The Golden Shape showcases some collaborations between Virgil Abloh and Nike that should release. This includes an OFF-WHITE x Nike Air More Uptempo as well as the Air Max Plus.

The Golden Shape mocked up two versions of the Nike Air More Uptempo and NikeAir Max Plus which gives us a few different looks. Coming in the traditional theme, they feature White across the base with Black accents. In addition we have Off-White and other unique characteristics which is seen on the other ’The Ten’ releases.

Below you can check out more images of the OFF-WHITE Nike Air More Uptempo and Air Max Plus which will give you a better look. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section. As well, the Nike ’The Ten’ Collection will release on November 9th and we just found out that more collaborations with Virgil and Nike will take place during 2018 including two new colorways of the Nike Air VaporMax.

It’s confirmed that Virgil Abloh and Nike are scaling out their partnership in 2018, making the coveted shoes similar to “The Ten” more available to the masses. The Golden Shape is taking matters into their own hands by re-imagining other Nike icons in Virgil Abloh’s deconstructed aesthetic, and quite frankly what they’ve mocked up is pretty close to what would be produced had Nike and Virgil opted for the Air More Uptempo and the updated Air Max Plus Ultra. While “The Ten” is set to release on November 9th, we can certainly expect much more in 2018 such as two more OFF WHTE x Nike Vapormax options and the black colorway of the OFF WHITE x Nike Air Force 1.

Not only did The Golden Shape give us one look, but the artist mocked up two different concepts of both the Nike Uptempo and Air Max Plus silhouette. Staying true to the “The Ten” theme, these silhouettes feature a White-based upper with Black detailing and added text branding to mimic the other Off-White x Nike/Jordan releases.
